1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Crato (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Crato (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering. Crato reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines. One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you post on Crato (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant Crato a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, transmit, and display such content in connection with operating and improving the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license. Crato does not claim ownership of your content.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts; (c) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service; (d) use automated tools to scrape or mass-collect data without written permission; (e) post content that violates our Community Guidelines; (f) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
5. Objectionable Content & Moderation
Crato has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. The Service provides tools to keep your experience safe: you can report any post, comment, or profile; block any user; and filter content with muted words in Settings. We review reports within 24 hours and will remove violating content and eject offending users. By using the Service you agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, as further described in our Community Guidelines.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Crato may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CRATO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CRATO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
