Community Guidelines

Be Respectful
Crato is a professional community for developers and builders. Treat all members with respect. Disagreements about code, products, or ideas are welcome — personal attacks, insults, or targeted harassment are not. Constructive criticism should be specific, kind, and relevant to the work.
No Spam or Self-Promotion Abuse
Sharing your work is encouraged — that is what Crato is for. However, repetitive posting, unsolicited DMs promoting services, artificially boosting engagement through coordinated behavior, or posting the same content across many communities without meaningful contribution constitutes spam and is not allowed.
No Harassment or Hate Speech
Harassment — including sustained unwanted contact, doxxing, threats, and targeted campaigns to intimidate or silence others — is strictly prohibited. Content that demeans or discriminates based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, national origin, or other protected characteristics will be removed.
No Illegal Content
Do not post content that violates applicable law. This includes but is not limited to: copyrighted material shared without authorization, pirated software, malware or phishing links, instructions for illegal activity, or content that violates export control regulations.
No Impersonation
Do not create accounts or post content that impersonates another person, company, or brand in a misleading way. Satire and parody may be allowed when clearly labeled. Verified credentials on Crato (such as revenue badges) must reflect genuine, verifiable information.
Report Violations
Every post, comment, and profile has an in-app report option, and you can block any user or filter content with muted words from Settings. If you see content that violates these guidelines, report it in-app or contact us at trust@crato.network. We review all reports within 24 hours, remove violating content, and eject offending users. Accounts found in serious or repeated violation may be suspended or permanently banned.
Enforcement
Crato reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines at our sole discretion. We may take action ranging from a warning to permanent termination depending on the severity and frequency of violations.
